Illustrator

I began my artistic journey back in 2000 as a student at the Nova Scotia Collage of Art and Design. Through the intervening years, I honed my skills with portraiture and commissioned work in watercolor and oil, as well as public art pieces and murals.

A passionate reader and student of literature, I've always had enormous respect for the power of the written word. As a mother who has spent countless hours wandering through intricate, quirky, wonderful picture book worlds, I've come to regard the art of illustration as a sort of subtle wizardry. Needless to say, I was thrilled at the prospect of providing the illustrations for this wholesome and heartfelt project.

I currently live and work in an old house by a river in rural New Brunswick.
